Korea Economy TV hosts the 15th Global Financial Conference in April, when the colors of spring are beautifully blended with the blue sky.

Unlike the weather filled with the lushness of spring, not only the global economy but also ours are facing unprecedented transitions amid crisis that we all have never gone through.

Although we expected to get our daily lives and the economy back to normal since we managed to escape from the crisis of COVID-19, the reality is far from it.

The present reality poses many challenges, such as the power struggle between the US and China, the Ukrainian war, austerity measures in many countries, changes in global economic landscapes, currency wars, and so on. None of these challenges are favorable for us.

The world has overcome the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and the 2020 economic crisis caused by COVID-19 through bold fiscal and monetary policies.

However, the debt, which is considered the trigger of every economic crisis, has snowballed during this period, and it is now looming over us as a new form of risk.

These highly sophisticated conundrums we face today demand our ability to interpret the trends and gain insights. Looking back at the lessons we learned from the Great Depression, the Lehman Brothers Crisis and the series of events that are happening right now, we will certainly venture into a "road not taken" in all fields including finance, industry and technology. We have always secured solutions and directions to win through in times of crisis, achieving growth and progress in the era of infinite competition.

At the 2023 Global Financial Conference, the most prestigious scholars and experts in each field will gather and diagnose the global and Korean economy in order to seek wise solutions to it,
Korea Economy TV will also strive to provide a new path for our economy, companies, capital markets and investors to take the lead in the world of restructuring wealth, which will come after the crisis.

We would like to ask for your attention and participation. Please grace the conference with your presence.

Thank you.
